MIKEL has developed innovative system interface designs, automatic processing algorithms and graphical user interfaces, some forming the basis for components in today's submarine combat systems.
One of our current efforts involves sonar and combat system improvements for close-in approach and attack scenarios. This includes automation improvements to match bearing and bearing rate as well as computation of the corrected intercept firing solution based on operator constrained target motion analysis parameters.
