PROGRAM SUPPORT – FUTURE CAPABILITIES

USW Combat Systems Department (Code 25)

Duties:

New position supporting Future Capabilities including APB5+, SLUAS and vTWIM programs. More programs will be coming in future.  Candidate would have an In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) background to include Configuration Management/Integrated Logistics Support (CM/ILS), Fleet interfacing, and boat scheduling assistance.

 

-Good understanding of how a future capability is transitioned to program of record, fielded, and supported

 

-Support the BYG-1 CM/ILS Lead in the development and review of ILS products associated with Future Capabilities, including but not limited to Temporary Engineering Change Instructions (TECIs), Engineering Change Instructions (ECIs), Training Plans, Preventative Maintenance, Supply Support (Allowance Parts Lists), etc.

 

-Support the BYG-1 Install lead, communicating with the fleet (COMSUBLANT or COMSUBPAC) regarding boat scheduling and ensuring the fleet understands the new capabilities being provided

 

-Support the BYG-1 Fleet Support lead with fleet coordination as future capabilities transition to the Fleet

 

-Tracking ILS Schedules and Install Schedules for Future Capabilities and ensuring milestones are met

-Provide assistance to the team as required

– Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

-Will require SIPR account, and classified phone/video calls

-Secret Clearance Required

-Travel: None

 

Requirements:

-Minimum 5 years Navy logistics experience. Combat Control/BYG-1 preferred.
