Use of Basis Pursuit to detect weak sources among known strong interferers

Abstract

A common approach to placing nulls in the direction of strong interferering signals is using linear constraints minimum variance (LCMV). A more highly resolved option may be using basis pursuit (BP) with and appropriate set of additional constraints. This work looks at using BP for such an objective.
